| Thank you for such a great seminar on Power Church Plus. I have been to so many seminars through the 33 yrs that I have worked at my church and yours was better than all of the others put together! Thank you for your patience and understanding as you presented the program. It was most helpful even though I have used the program for about 7 yrs. I learned so much that will make my job easier and keep me from duplicating my work through other programs. | Within the first half hour of the session, I knew I had found the help I needed. By the end of the first half of the day, I had already learned more about PowerChurch than I had in six months of self tutoring. By the way, My working career (over 40 years) was as a software developer. As a result of ATAP's knowledge of the software, and their ability to pass on their knowledge and experience, my job at the church has turned into a pleasure instead of a task I did not look forward to. I had been tracking contributions, but the accounting module was not giving the expected results. They showed us how the accounting module worked with the contribution module and even set it up for us. I am now using the system getting results and loving it! I hadn't had time to learn how to use the accounts payable module, and had been posting everything via manual checks. Learning how to use the accounts payable unit correctly saves me several hours a week. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend ATAP for current users of the software, as well as new users. | Our church has actually used Power Church software for about 17 years. Last year (July2010) we upgraded to Power Church Plus 11; and at that time were introduced to Answer to a Prayer, a support ministry for Power Church users. (Jeff & Pauline Walker). Pauline came in and set up our new program; and I have used Pauline and a couple of other folks with Answer to a Prayer to help me with 941 Tax Returns, etc and end of year forms. They have helped me navigate through the Contribution, Payroll and Accounting Modules. I assumed the position here the first of October 2010, upon the retirement of our Pastor and his wife. ATAP really has been an Answer to a Prayer for me many times throughout these past few months; particularly as I had NO ACCOUNTING BACKGROUND prior to assuming this position. The more I learn in the Power Church Program, the more I love it!! ATAP folks are very knowledgeable about laws concerning ministries, etc. I am happy to recommend these folks as they have been extremely helpful to our ministry. | Good Morning In response to your inquiry about the support I have received from Answer To A Prayer, they have truly been an answer to my prayers here at the Wadsworth United Methodist Church. I had used Power Church Plus for many years but it was'nt producing accurate financial reports like it should have been. We had multiple fund accounts and it was an accounting nightmare. We started having yearly reviews by an area CPA who had to manually figure everything because the reports were'nt correct. After a couple of years and having requests from our Finance Committee to switch to QuickBooks, I found the Walker’s contact information on the Power Church site. I did not want to separate our finances from our membership information, I wanted to stay with PowerChurch. Jeff and Pauline Walker are amazing. They have helped us in person and remotely from Georgia. They are courteous and prompt in their response. And they stay with you until a solution is found. They took our 27 Fund Accounts in June 2009, reorganize them into 3 Fund Accounts, and got everything account in balance with the bank and Power Church Plus. Our Finance Committee is thrilled with the clarity and accuracy of our monthly reports. Personally they have taught me so much about how to locate and correct differences, showed me shortcuts to work faster, and just made the entire part of my time spent doing the financials of this church so much less stressful. They empowered me to find the answers to questions from the committees and congregation about where we are financially. I trust God will lead you to the best decision for you ministry.
